Scott Porter

founder and managing principal

For more than two decades, Scott has honed his commercial real estate career, refining his expertise in acquisitions, dispositions, financing, joint ventures and operations. Scott has been involved in over $6.7 billion of commercial real estate transactions throughout the United States.

Prior to Bluecrest Capital, Scott launched an acquisition and investment platform for GBT Realty, Inc. While there, he oversaw all transactional and capital structure duties to acquire underperforming, value-add and core-plus assets and served as head of operations the firm’s diverse portfolio.

Prior, Scott served at Regency Centers (NYSE:REG) where he oversaw single-property, portfolio and joint-venture transactions across the country. Scott also held positions at Rockpoint Group, LLC, a Boston-based real estate private equity firm and started his career at Legg Mason as a commercial real estate analyst. Porter, who once played professional baseball in the Toronto Blue Jays organization, is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute.

John Colucci

principal

For nearly three decades, John has focused on the construction, development and operations of commercial and residential assets throughout the Southeast. Armed with experience in the multi-family, industrial and office sectors, John has built a lucrative portfolio of personal real estate holdings through development and investment in small bay light industrial, office and multi- and single-family properties.

Most successful was his acquisition of an unfinished luxury housing development at auction. John transformed the abandoned project into 11 single-family, build-to-rent units and installed 30+ acres of required horizontal infrastructure to release the bond and transfer the community to the homeowner’s association. John attended Cal Poly Pomona and was a member of the crew team.
